Γνωστοί έγιναν οι αθλητές που δήλωσαν συμμετοχή στο φετινό ντραφτ του ΝΒΑ. Συνολικά δήλωσαν συμμετοχή 205 παίκτες εκ των οποίων οι 163 προέρχονται από κολέγια και οι 42 από τον υπόλοιπο κόσμο. Μεταξύ τους βρίσκονται και οι Γιώργος Καλαϊτζάκης (Παναθηναϊκός), Νίκος Ρογκαβόπουλος (ΑΕΚ) και Αλεξέι Ποκουσέφσκι (Ολυμπιακός).

Οι παίκτες έχουν δικαίωμα να αποσύρουν την υποψηφιότητά τους δέκα μέρες πριν την διεξαγωγή των ντραφτ.
